The Induced Proximity Platform is seeking a creative, emerging scientific leader to discover and develop novel therapies for cancer and other therapeutic areas.

The Scientist's primary responsibilities will be as a laboratory scientist and team leader developing platforms and modalities to impact challenging targets across multiple therapeutic areas, including oncology and immuno-oncology. The Induced Proximity Platform takes innovative, cross-discipline approaches, including targeted protein degradation, to tackle the toughest targets.

The successful candidate will supervise one or more research associates to support target discovery and development of novel therapeutic modalities. The Scientist will set project goals and timelines, design, perform and analyze experiments, interact with team members across different departments and research sites, and communicate and present data to department leadership. The successful candidate will also inform departmental goals and strategy and will represent the department in various cross-functional activities including academic collaborations, external research evaluations, project teams, and scientific committees. The Scientist will also be expected to contribute to the scientific community through conference presentations and impactful publications.

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate degree


Master's degree and 4 years of scientific experience


Bachelor's degree and 6 years of scientific experience

Preferred Qualifications

Doctorate degree and 5+ years of postdoctoral experience

Broad knowledge of cancer and cellular biology with demonstrated independent research eminence through first author publications in top journals

Specific expertise and a record of publication in the biology and biochemistry of post-translational modifications

Research experience with biochemical, biophysical, molecular and cellular techniques, including enzyme and cell assay development, characterization of protein modification and turnover, and mechanistic studies of enzymes

Expertise in PARP enzymes, including experience in tumor models

Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills

Prior experience mentoring other scientists

Flexibility to work in teams to achieve changing project goals and meet timelines
