The Global Pricing & Market Access Team at Amgen is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented administrative professional to support a team of Executive Directors and Directors in our Thousand Oaks office. The Administrative Coordinator will lead all aspects of, and/or perform a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and program support activities. In this position, you will play a key role in streamlining our company's workflow as the link between various departments, employees, and vendors!

The position is responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Handling individual and team calendars and scheduling meetings (Outlook) across multiple time zones
  • Making sophisticated, international and domestic travel arrangements, including ground transportation logistics, and preparing expense reports
  • Coordinating processes including invoicing, purchase orders, mailings and courier/deliveries
  • Running the administrative aspects of relationships with outside specialists and vendors
  • Coordinating meetings: arrange travel, meeting arrangements, visitor accommodations including visitor badges as needed
  • Preparing agendas and taking action items as the need arises

Basic Qualifications

Associate's degree and 2 years of administrative experience


2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience


High school diploma / GED and 4 years of administrative experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years' experience in an administrative support role
  • Strong Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint Skills, MyBuy, SAP, SKYPE and Concur
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working in biopharma industry
  • Strategic problem solver who loves to "think ahead" and anticipate solutions to logistical issues
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, results oriented environment
